Book Summary
Harry Potter is entering his 4th year in Hogwarts. His scar keeps on burning, and he can just tell that there is darkness in the air. This should be one of those cheerful years though, because there is a special event this year. This event hasn't happened for over a century, and shows who the best of the best wizards are.
The Goblet of Fire is what tells everyone who is going to the tournament. It pulls out four names all of them will become champions. Harry’s name is for some reason pulled out even though he is under aged. At first it was thought to be Snape to do it, but he was wrong. Later on in the story you realize that Bartemius Crouch is the culprit.
Since now that Harry has to go to a dangerous tournament, he will have to spend all of his time preparing to go up against the next task. The 1st task was dragons. Book Review
By: J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was an unexpected read. I would rate the novel a 9 out of 10 because this book had incredible detail with something that always interested me. Whether it would be made up monsters or crazy events I would always be interested. This book is definitely action/adventure/fantasy, and isn't really relatable. I mean you can’t really relate to an amazing book like this when it has wizards, mystical creatures, and magic. In this book the main characters are Harry Potter, Ron Hermione, and the settings are mostly Hogwarts, and wherever the tri wizard tournament ends up at. This book really kept me on my toes, and I always have to think, and solve the book like a puzzle.
In this book the plot was brilliantly placed in a way that always kept you guessing. One second the character would be doing one thing, then the next second they would be doing something completely different in an entirely different place. There are great characters in this book also. The main characters are all so different that it gives the author so much more to write about, and makes the book a lot more interesting, because you get those different personalities. In the end though you get someone with a really bad personality, and hes out for revenge.
