My Favorite Scene
In Harry Potter my favorite scene is when Harry has to get the golden egg from the dragon. This scene contains only Harry Potter, the dragon, the crowd, and his fire bolt. He is in a stadium with rocks, and many other places to dodge the dragon. Harry uses his fire bolt to come up in the air to make the dragon follow him, so that when the time strikes right he could swoop down and grab the egg. That is exactly what he did. This scene occurs in the rising action.
This is my favorite scene because I am really fascinated with dragons. It is also, because the author used great detail, and I could visualize exactly what the setting looked like, and what the series of events were. In this story I realized that Harry could do more than I thought, and that he could actually compete up against these people. This also made me more interested in the book, because I knew that if they brought this in, then they will probably bring more mystical creatures in which is what really interests me. That is why this is my favorite scene.

Conflict: Problem-Solution
The three main conflict in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are that someone puts Harry’s name in the Goblet, Voldemort comes back, and that Harry feels like someone is out to get him. The main conflict is that someone put Harry’s name in the Goblet of Fire. This certain conflict affects Harry in every way.It effects him mentally, because he has to try, and figure out who put his name in the Goblet of Fire. It affects him physically, because now he has to go through crazy challenges that definitely affect him physically. Then they affect him socially, because now everyone thinks that he cheated, and put his name in there just so that he could compete.
The external conflict is that he when he tries to figure out who put his name in the goblet he gets transported in a graveyard where Voldemort is. There he has to go up against Voldemort, and Cedric Diggory dies. His parents come back, and hold Voldemort long enough for Harry to escape. After that Harry tells everyone that Voldemort is back.
The internal conflict is that Harry feels like someone is out to get him, because they put his name in the Goblet of Fire. Throughout the story it brings up conversation, and every time Harry brings up the fact that someone is out to get him.
